A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

DIY Pseudo Nicoise
For lunch that second day I commandeered some of Dad's left over tuna steak, repurposed one of the grilled potatoes and created my low-rent version of a Salad Nicoise, rounding it out with mixed greens and olives. I think I just did a little salt and nothing else in terms of dressing. The lack of dressing was the salad's main flaw, but it was still good on the whole.

Hmmm I thought I had pointed out the dressing options but maybe I was too full of sun and saltwater, and so spaced it out! It looked lovely anyway.
Oh yeah. You told me about the dressings a little too late. But it was no big thing.
