Muang Thai

Tonight I ordered delivery and felt guilty about it. But let's not dwell on my guilt. Let's dwell on the food and how freakin' good it was. I had the Thai Rolls, shrimp, basil and other vegetables wrapped in rice paper. I also had the Masamun Curry this is their description: "Traditional Thai curry with white onion, potatoes and peanuts in coconut milk." The curry was spicy without being overbearing and the coconut milk base gave it a nice sweetness to balance the dish. Just fabulous.

I *heart* Masumun curry. And it's not all that hard to try to replicate. But my sauces always turn out too heavy. I want to try to make spring rolls soon. Mayhaps a trip to Chinatown is in order, but not today--FLOOD WATCH!
