Peppers
Yesterday I made these peppers. It would be blasphemous to compare them to chille rellenos and yet I think they are similar because the peppers are stuffed and covered with cheese. But the similarities end there. My peppers were not poblano peppers and they weren't stuffed with chihuahua cheese. Nope. Instead these suckers were stuffed with shrimp, asparagus, cheese and egg. I put a little milk into the filling, added an egg (which I made in my food processor...god bless cuisinart) then poured the new mixture over the peppers. Not spicy but not bland either.
