Last night I watched Happy Endings. A very jam packed 'ensemble' movie...why is it that so many 'indie' type movies have these complex character/plot relations? There was a textual element to the movie, occasionally a 'narrator' of sorts (and by of sorts I mean white text) would come in and clarify something about a character's past, present or future. This could be found annoying but I found it compelling.The movie itself had a slow pace...the boyfriend did crosswords thorough most of it.
