Madagascar

I like children's movies because they are usually packed with slightly humorous moments that no children ever get...or if they get them, they don't actually understand them.

I like children's movies because everything always turns out all right in the end (with the exception of The Lion King...daddy lion dying was not cool).

I liked the idea of Madagascar very much. Zoo animals getting misplaced in the 'wild'. Unfortunately the pacing of this movie and the lessons of friendship the viewer was supposed to learn (over and over again) made it not as good as it could have been.

Even the penguins (who seemed so interesting in the trailers) weren't enough. Want to watch an animated movie for kids? Watch Aladdin or The Little Mermaid...kick it old school.
