Et Voila! A Scarf

I'm no yarn harlot (her productivity is astounding), but I have finished the scarf I've been working on for somebody. I wanted to take pictures of it but as I mentioned earlier the color combination would give away who the recipient is...so I didn't take any photographs. Then last night while in a chasm of despair and sickness, I thought about taking pictures in black and white...here they are.
This scarf is quite the treat...made of bulky alpaca and a strand of mohair, it is thin in width but thick in feel...and soft oh my goodness is it soft...I used a twisted stitch motif and now alls I have to do is weave in the ends. Makes me want to knit more. Makes me wish that my knit picks order would arrive...I'm rather terrified that it won't come before I leave thus I will not have the capability to make Christmas presents for anyone (I didn't place the order until last week...but my god the prices are incredibly cheap for really great yarn). Poor, poor planning on my part.

I am also a KnitPicks slut. The yarn is so affordable and pretty good quality and color selection. Not like the acryllic crap you buy at Wal-Mart.

If I ever get a digital camera, I will beseige my blog with photos of my knit projects.

Yeah buddy. It's crazy that you can get 440 yards of quality wool for less than five dollars a skein...let alone alpaca for less than 8. Or that's how I feel. If only...if only I had ordered just a little sooner.

I thought, what with the anemia, that you no longer had a neck...and how can something you don't have get cold?
