Squash, There I Said It
Squash is not my favorite vegetable. Is it a vegetable? Anyways. It's not. I have a rather negative reaction to the idea of eating it, though on occasion I do. The boyfriend had been planning to make a squash curry from a New York Times Magazine recipe and I was very unenthused. I tried to trick him into going out to Indian, I tried to trick him into going out to sushi but I did not succeed. And it's for the best because I liked the boyfriend's squash curry. I was wrong. He was right. Again. From what I witnessed the curry included onion, squash, ginger, cilantro, yuba (yes yuba!) and coconut milk. It was a non-spicy curry but very creamy.
