Dim Sum @ Furama
For those of you who don't know, dim sum is 'da bomb'. This is the scene of Furama on Broadway and Argyle. This is a picture from yesterday. Dim sum is great for two or more people because you can try a number of tasty treats, ranging from shrimp dumplings to curried calamari, and it usually works out to about ten bucks (or less) per person. The only trouble is getting the attention of the people pushing around the carts with the food. You need to be rather aggressive, for if you are not, they'll breeze by you without giving you a chance to even see what they have. The larger the number of your party the better table you get. I went with one friend and we were put, basically, in the corner, far away from the masses.
Yesterday we shared a good variety of goodies. The photographs below are of shrimp and onion dumplings as well as fried calamari.
