Birds and Pastries
On Tuesday morning M. and I drove into Lewes for coffee and pastries from Lewes Bake Shoppe. I went with a caramel latte and cream cheese croissant. M. tried the puffin. We went to the public Lewes beach to consume our treats, though we were heckled by a huge flock of multi-species sea gulls.
M. liked the puffin, but didn't love it. She was afraid of the birds while I wanted to get my photograph taken with them...so I used some of her puffin to entice the birds into flight...and then I got a little afraid of the birds.
