A blog that used to chronicle my Philadelphia eating life, then life working on a sheep farm in the PNW, and now life in rural Virginia.

Walk Around
Sewanee is a college town and right now the students are still around. The students freak me out. I think its a combination of their youth, conservatism and, um, I don't know...they freak me out is all. My parents are quite astonished by the tendency these kids have of simply dropping their bikes in relatively random places. What is this plant? It has been an awfully long winter. I like it very much that the last two days were 70 degrees and pretty, pretty, pretty. Daffodils are every where.
