A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

Foggy Saturday
Saturday was properly foggy. Not too terribly cold, though not exactly warm either. My mother and I went to the Community Center to peruse the community yard sale offerings.

Fog. At least it makes for an interesting texture with the light and the trees. Here we seem to be stuck in a slough of drear. Won't really rain, won't really clear up. Yeah yeah yeah we have had severe drought status for two TWO years, but still and all I am longing for sunlight. Or even fog just to break the monotony. And coming from me, she who escaped fog, thought about car colors in terms of how well they showed up in the fog long after leaving fogland, that is sayin' somethin'.
