A few days back my mother made a rack of lamb or maybe they were short ribs? I don't know and I just asked my mother...but then realized that she's in the shower and can't hear me...which made me feel a bit foolish, talking to nobody. We all commented that they were fattier than many a lamb rib (or whatever) we had had, but the meat itself was very good. As were the freshly cooked tomatoes, spinach and baked potatoes. And the wine was nice too.
My mother sears the lamb then puts it into the oven. I will try this in the future.
