A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

Ribs
The next day my father got an earlier start on the coals and cooked the ribs. Unfortunately it was his first rib experience and the ribs turned out a little dry. Though he did try a few morsels before and said that at that time you could really taste the sauce...which he made himself and did not pour out of a bottle. Next time around we'll know. It was a learning experience. My mother made some pretty good coleslaw...which is saying something, since I don't usually care for coleslaw.
