A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

Not Especially
On Friday I took my lunch at Salt and Pepper Diner. Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with a side of tater tots. Unfortunately, for all the aesthetic and locational appeal of the diner, the sandwich lacked a certain basic goodness. The sausage was dry, dry, dry and they (as far as I"m concerned) skimped on the egg and cheese. Tater tots were good, but really, how can you mess up fried frozen potato cylinders? You can't.
