Once we returned to Sewanee we stopped at Shenanigans for lunch. We shared a basket of onion rings, which were nice and fried but not much else. I have never quite understood the appeal of them...past their fried-ness.
And I ordered the muffaletta sandwich, which was good, but not amazing. The thing with all of Shenanigan's fare is that the ingredients are never of a super high quality, which makes the resulting food always decent, always worth the price, but never anything all that special.
