Where should I have my parents take me out for my birthday?
Here? Or perhaps here?<----They've got their own bull and salt cave right in the restaurant (the cave, not the bull)for goodness sakes. Or back here? Or here? Then there's unlimited meat, maybe we should go here. The parents love their frenchies, so maybe here here or here.
I don't think I've ever been to a steakhouse. And I sure am craving meat.

How nice of you to think about what your parents like, their frenchies, but hey it is your birthday! If you want meat and lots of it, do the Brazilian place. We have one here; no one I hang out with likes THAT much meat so I have yet to go, but I have heard that it is awesome. Lots of different meats, cooked lots of different ways and to your liking rareness-wise if applicable. Don't do sushi, too fraught, some of the links didn't appear or one had to choose upon entering the site and I was clues-less (especially for sweets and savories portal). Sooooo if you want meat still in the near future, I do believe Ma and Pa could be up for it! Early HB and all that.

If you're going to go to a steakhouse, don't go to a chain. There must be some amazing local steakhouse, I mean it is Chicago after all.
It's not a chain like Applebees or TGIFridays is a chain. It's more like Mario Batali's restaurants in NYC, Chicago and L.A. are chains.
Definitely, definitely go to moto. It's expensive but fucking amazing. They cook with lasers, no joke.
I vote the meat-a-rama for you, and the place H&C took you, the third one for us.
