Danger Danger

I have started to play this dangerous new game during my spare time. It's called: pick a pretty area you like and find houses you would want to live in.

For example: this house, or this house. Maybe something with a river theme? This one has a possibly promising porch. I don't know, though. I think I need to broaden my search to warmer locations.

Watch out for nighttime noise on that second one. Isn't it right next to the alley leading to the Black Swan?

Hm, anonymous, I'm not sure. I actually thought it might be on Montgomery Street. In fact, I kind of thought maybe it was the house next door to the house I lived in on Montgomery Street. But that may be revisionist history.

Are you a fellow Bardian?

Right - what I think of as the alley that forms two sides of a rectangle completed by Montgomery and Broadway. I just looked it up and it's actually called Feroe Ave.

Way not to answer the question of your origin, Anony (that's what I'm calling you for short, though I think you come from the real estate office and, now that you have established the exact location of your property, will not be posting again...or you're my mother, but I don't think she had that firm a grasp of the Tivoli layout).

Having just written that extremely mini-parenthetical-diatribe I realize that I should just let you be. Keep on reading, whoever (whomever?) you are!

I'm surprised you haven't matched the timing of my comments and the timing of visits from various locales to determine that I'm Illinois-based (though not in Chicago, as Site Meter might suggest).

To misstate a phrase of yours, Bard is for babies.

Wow, it's like a riddle that I can't figure out. I will name you Nonny.
