A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

Stir Fry
On Thursday, I think, I made a stir fry. Green and red peppers, portabella mushrooms, zucchini, snow peas, chicken and tofu all seasoned with ginger, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce and garlic. A good helping of veggies.

On an earlier item - I think the deli that always had pickles on the table (in a metal bowl and you never had to ask for them) was the one in Loehman's Plaza. The Grubb Rd. one has changed hands several times.
Loehman's Plaza is (was?) on Randolph, not too far off Rockville Pike. I haven't been there in many years. At one point, the shopping center included a discount shoe store. Can't remember what else - except a good deli - with pickles!

I don't even know where Loehman's Plaza is. You'd need to give me another landmark in that complex to trigger my incredible memory powers.
