The Pretty Doesn't Last Forever

Last weekend was just really really pretty. The temperature for our party was perfect and then Sunday became ridiculously warm and sunny. I took a walk and took photographs of this blossoming tree...and it's good I did because it rained this week and now all the pretty petals are in a pile on the pavement.
