New Years Day

I didn't really pay a lot of attention to new year's eve. On new year's day I worked a bit then went on a little walk, going down streets in my general neighborhood that I haven't seen before.

I also walked on streets that I am familiar with. If I understand correctly, this building is being torn down in order for the new Barnes Foundation space. Once, when I was walking to the library to play Scrabble, I passed a group of 20-30 well dressed, older for the most part, people in nice suits and dresses. With signs, protesting the movement of the collection. I don't really know much more than that, but it certainly was funny to see such 'high-heeled' folks with placards in their hands.
