Food Keeps On Fooding, Into The Future

It was a friend's birthday party on Saturday night and so, to arrive in style, a bunch of us Andersonvillers (and hangers on) went to the Broadway bus stop to wait for our chariot. While waiting we got to see quite the fireworks display...it was no Washington, D.C. on the fourth of July but it wasn't too bad either. None of us could quite figure out what the occasion was...any ideas?

At the friend's do, there were little cakey cakes and cheese and veggies. I only took a photograph of this little carrot cake because the rest of the food, though tasty, was covered in darkness.

Yom Kippur would make sense...I forgot to mention the part where the fireworks, timed perfectly, spelled out:
JEWS ROCK THE ATONEMENT

forgot to mention that, but it happened...so that would explain things.
