A blog chronicling my departure from urban life on the east coast to sheep farm and cheese making life on the west coast. Still recounting the meals I have eaten in my new setting, but with more sheep thrown into the mix.

Business Lunch c/o The Belgian Cafe
I had a faux business lunch on the Thursday after my return from Florida. I met up with A., a fellow graduate of George School. She and I have a few classes between us and I didn't really know her while in high school, but we've run into each other a few times through Mr. Ass and have enjoyed each other's company enough to brave the 'having lunch with someone you don't know too well'. She may not think of it that way, but I did. I had the Herge mussels (jalapeno pepper butter, cilantro, orange zest and Belgian wit ale) , she had a burger and we shared a basket of french fries. The mussels were satisfying, though I didn't really pick up on the jalapeno or orange elements of the dish.
