I watched the first thirty seconds of this video while listening to a Tom Petty song and I found myself with tears in my eyes. What is that about? The whales? The amount of money China has spent to seem nice? All those people working together? Tom Petty singing about being built to last? I have no idea.
It was about 5 seconds. But it was weird.
A blog that used to chronicle my Philadelphia eating life, then life working on a sheep farm in the PNW, and now life in rural Virginia.

Dinner Sandwich
At some point last week I bought just enough deli meat for three sandwiches. Each one was like this one: turkey, heirloom tomato, American cheese, mayo and mustard. Simple but effective.

She-Who and I Go on a Serrrrrrious Adventure
The afternoon before C. and T.'s wedding She-Who and I took a mile long walk...on our hotel's treadmills. But first I had to stretch and shade myself from the sun.
We played some rummy while we walked.
I got so excited that I decided to jog for a while.
She-Who felt a strong need, during our strenuous walk, to read about the town we were walking around. Don't worry though, she was wearing sunglasses so the sun wasn't too bright on all the pages.
Then, while I was jogging, She-Who saw something very interesting. So she pointed at it.
I continued to jog...and my knees didn't feel stressed in the least.
At the end of the whole thing I felt very strong.
Then I had to stretch.
Then, because I was so sweaty, I put a towel under my hat to soak up all my walk sweat.
Then M. Lady and I got ready for the wedding.

Breakfast Bagel
The building I am currently living in dropped off a piece of paper a few weeks back that highlighted a local business and gave a 10% off coupon to the establishment. So, on Tuesday morning, before work, I stopped by Mugshots Coffee House and ordered myself an egg and cheese bagel and iced tea. They also have quite a variety of sandwiches. The eggs were scrambled and reminded me of when I worked in a coffee house and we made our egg sandwiches in the microwave (real eggs, scrambled and cooked for 2 minutes) and that wasn't as interesting as I had hoped. They did have liquid sugar readily available to their customers and I always appreciate that. I ate the sandwich at my desk. The end.

And Done
The morning after their wedding C and T's families hosted a little brunch. Originally She-Who and I were not going to be able to attend...shuttles and airplanes and whatnot, but at the last minute we came up with an alternative transportation solution that allowed us the ability to crash said brunchy. I had a bagel and cream cheese with smoked salmon. I liked it. Others had fruit and bagels without salmon.
M. Lady took a funny photograph of She-Who and I but I can't seem to steal it from her flickr account. She-Who also has some hilarious photographs of the two of us on our one mile walk.

There Are Cons To Taking So Many Photographs
The cons are that, then, I have to choose which pictures to show. And sometimes I'm not very good with choices. So I just throw my hands up in the air. This is kind of funny because this actually is a bit of an edit.
