After setting our tent up in the site #64 in Shady Pines campsite we took a walk to the bay side of the island. This was about a ten minute walk and resulted in a super pretty. What is this bird? We found a whole hell of a lot of these kind of crabs scuttling up and down along the sand. The ebf put one in his mouth, ever so briefly. I did not
After our walk we ate shrimp and played scrabble by propane light. And then, I think, we walked on the beach looking for the sea turtles that the state park ranger told us were in the process of leaving their nests (or something). We saw some fishermen, the moon and a bunch of sand but no turtles.
