So I've been waiting to hear about a job possibility. I had the interview on Friday and was told I'd hear on, or around, Wednesday. I felt good about the interview but know better than to assume that means I got it...but I can't bring myself to the same level of job searching when there's a chance that, in fact, I may already have one. But if I don't. Shoot.
That's dilemma number one.
I've also been investigating locations and recruiting members for a trivia bar night (after having such a fine time in Savannah). Tonight, in theory, could be the first one. But there are two things that stand in the way of it...the first being that tonight is also the free booze get together of the SAIC writing folk. Now, technically, I've graduated and so I have no business going to the event. But alumni showed up in the past without very many mean or strange looks. The second thing is maybe a larger part of the first: trivia night will cost money for booze and transportation, whereas free booze night it's only transportation. Hmmm. The dilemma. I'm tempted not to go to either so I don't have to worry about making the wrong choice.
