Lasagna Times

The Friday before Hurricane Sandy found me making lasagna. I used the tomato meat sauce I had made in the country the previous week, the leftovers of which I froze for just a later endeavor. Pretty straightforward layering of meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Oh dear lord what a lovely lasagna! I want some right now!

Do you do the no boil noodles way or do you boil and wrestle them into the pan? No matter which it is a vision of delishishnish ha ha spelling can be so overrated.

Oh I boil them. No doubt about that. The no boil noodles have been untrustworthy to me in the past.

Maybe a dish I could make in our December times, either the meat version or the mushroom/bechemel version.

Or one of each!!! I love bechemel versions. I love meat sauce. There ya go, no help whatsoever. At all. Nope. We could inquire of College Girl what she might prefer. I can already hear her answer: Oh CC is cooking oh hell yeah all of it.

A fan. No doubt.

I have had success with the no boil but then I may be overly lavish with sauce and they drink it up.
