A blog that used to chronicle my Philadelphia eating life, then life working on a sheep farm in the PNW, and now life in rural Virginia.

Pork Shoulder and Salad
A.'s mother made pulled pork for Saturday's dinner.

We ate outside, first eating salads of blue cheese, fresh Amish lettuce and grilled red onions.

She also prepared a hot potato salad (as in temperature, not spice...though I could see how one could play with the recipe a little to add an element of heat), which was delightful as well.
I may overuse the words lovely and delightful. Or it may just be that I live a pretty lovely and delightful life...on the weekends. Hm. Maybe a combination of the two?
