Duty Free and Salad in Saranac
After our bagels, we hit the road. When we reached the border we took the time to go to the duty free building and peruse their goods. M. ended up buying these eye patches, the purpose of which was unclear, but she said they felt nice.
After we crossed the border and drove a bit we stopped in Saranac for gas and a little food in our bellies at a cafe that I can't find on the internet. I went with the salad with artichokes, tomatoes and olives. It was decent. We sat on a little porch and watched a stream rush us by. The service wasn't so great.
M. had a crepe with lots of melty cheese and I was a little jealous.
