Settlers and Seafarers of Catan
After dinner we got down to some serious Catan playing. While I almost won this first game, I did not actually win. M. won. Ugh.
Then we played a mystery seafarers game that I also felt pretty good about...until M. won.
Now I'm jonesing to prove myself but M. and A. are, I would think, either happily back in Seattle or well near there. In either case, they aren't nearby. I hadn't realized that Mr. Ass knew how to play, and C. and I talk about my teaching her and R. how to play while we have our wine and laundry dates. So maybe there will be a resurgence in the frequency at which I get to play the game and that frequency will improve my prowess, thus allowing me to trounce M. the next time we play. Maybe.
